(50) The religious philosophy was formed in order to control and limit all the ills of the society, political devils and selfish rages. This is the statement given by the Pathinensiddhars. (51) The religious philosophy was created for the welfare of the mankind. So, human beings should not sacrifice their lives for the sake of religion. It is an unforgivable sin to forget or renounce one's worldly life in the name of religion. (41) Temples, Prayers, Festivals, Religious Procedures, Rituals have been instituted to help mankind live with pleasure in this birth as well as in succeeding births without losing peace and happiness. But people out of madness waste their entire lives in researching whether these religious things are useful or not for them. The root, bark, leaves, flowers, of a tree may not be tasty.
