Kuruvaasagam - 11 to 20

  • 11) There is no place for differences between the gods worshipped by human beings as Good and Bad. But there are two major categories of gods: One category of gods admonish and punish immediately. They are called as Arakka (அரக்கர்) type of gods; Another category of gods take time to find out the faults and correct their devotees after making them feel their mistakes. They are called as Irakka (இரக்கம்) type of gods. This categorisation is not due to the imagination of man. The gods' nature and tendencies when they led human life before becoming gods are used for this categorisation and they are in turn assigned to their sanctum sanctorums. Thus, worshipping the fore-fathers is the right thing to give strength and valour to all activities of the human society. Because of this, every human being should lead a great life with a desire to acquire the state of God worshipped by other human beings. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 12) To have a beautiful human life, don't speak ill of others till your death; also don't believe the bad things spoken about others by other people. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 13) To make the human life strong, every human being should discuss then and there with the other human being the faults seen in him/her directly and develop good friendship with that person. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 14) Every human being during his/her leisure time, should analyse and realize whether his/her mind, heart and body are sufficiently pure and truthful for the divine atoms to enter and live. Based on this analysis, one should lead a life of corrections, fitfullness and bountifullness. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 15) Every human being should spend carefully in measured quantities his/her muscle power, mental power and intelligent power. One who spends his/her energies extravagantly in sensual pleasures, physical games, useless talks, unnecessary travels, dishonest efforts ... thereby weakens his body, mind and intelligence; this results in numerous births, endless troubles and unchanging pains. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 16) Apart from the talks between man and woman; man to man, woman to woman talks should be carefully limited by the individuals. Otherwise, they would suffer much due to broken hearts and dilapidated minds. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 17) Both man and woman should respect the desires arising in their mind. No desire should be hidden or diminished or blocked during the lifetime. Every man and woman should fulfill his or her desires honestly without cheating or torturing others and at the same time in an unobjectionable manner. The seed of desire in human body is only due to the divine atoms that act in an omnipotent and omnipresent manner in the universe. So, don't make the impregnated desire into a pre-term baby or a stolen baby. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 18) Don't suppress desires; allow them to subdue on their own. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 19) Every human being should live to aid and help other human beings to live with humaneness. On the other hand one should not trouble others to become inhuman or like dangerous forest animals. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.

  • 20) No one should provoke turbulent feelings in others by enjoying pleasures or engaging in revelry in open places. This is the statement of the Pathinensiddhars.
